Q: What industry is your specialty?
Our experience spans B2B to B2C and everywhere in between, but our sweet spot is healthcare organizations and business to business start-ups. We are well-versed in helping early-stage companies hone their message and focus their marketing efforts on channels that will deliver the best ROI. We are also well-versed in the priorities and pain points of healthcare executives. Our clients appreciate how our years of experience and healthcare-savvy allow us to hit the ground running with proven healthcare marketing strategies.
Q: Do you have enough bandwidth to take this project on?
We find that there is no substitute for full immersion into the structure, challenges, vision, and goals of each and every client we serve. We will not accept a project if we cannot deliver that level of service. We promise. For every project, we assemble a client team to fit your needs, including development, design, writing, project management, photography, and videography.
Q: What types of projects do you take on?
We love partnering with businesses on an ongoing basis, but we help on a project basis too. We start with our initial discovery process to propose projects or a custom retainer model designed to scale with your needs. For a more detailed look at what we do, view our services.
Q: What is your process?
No matter what type of project we’re working on, we always start with our start-up process which includes understanding where you’ve been, where you want to go and why. We then get to know your leadership and team members to learn more about what makes your best clients tick. We always prioritize discovery and goal setting at the outset, because any marketing not based on a deep knowledge of your business goals and your audience is sure to fall flat.
Q: What’s with “Slabtown” as a name?
Slabtown Marketing was founded in the Slabtown neighborhood of Traverse City, Michigan. “Slabtown” is an old neighborhood nickname, related to its logging-town roots. We also appreciated its symbolic ties to the idea of “building” and hard work, which resonates with our brand.
